Default New to Honda civic

Hi guys, Im new to Hondas and have just bought a 1997 Honda Civic 5 door saloon, 1.4. I dont have any information on the cambelt and when it will need changing. Could anyone please inform me on the milage limit? Also i have a small problem and not sure if it is common?
The 'door warning' light is always lit but all doors are shut. ive noticed at times it would flicker off (dodgey wire somewhere?) and that it seems to be linked with the interior light. If I have the interior light set to turn on when I open the door it will just stay on constantly, along with the warning light. If the warning light flicks off the light will work fine. I assume it could be a problem with the drivers door switch? As I also dont get the warning buzzer when I leave my head lights on and leave the car. Where is the switch located?

Also my fuel warning light doesnt appear to be working. What could this most likely be?

Many thanks, hope you could give me some tips I could try for myself.
