Default How much money would it be to tint your car windows to the legal limit in California?

if it helps it would be a 2010 civic, and i'd have the back windows darker then the driver and passenger window..

$150 but Cali tint laws are very restrictive so use a ceramic film lighter with the heat rejection of darker metallic films.

Not sure what the 'legal limit' is in CA. but here in NY, I have paid anywhere from $150-$230 depending on the size and when the cars were done. Ex. My 1992 Civic was done in 1994 for $150, my 2001 Civic was done in 2001 for $200, and my 2007 Subaru Impreza wagon cost me $230 in 2007. The shade of the tint shouldn't matter since it's all the same to the shop that did mine. The wagon cost the most due to better film now being made and more windows were done. In all cases I had every window done including the windshield strip. Some shops will do it for less with inferior products and with kids that have no idea what to do. I went to a guy that is a perfectionist and my windows have only had 1 problem in all of these years (rear window shrunk after 8 years and was redone last month).
