Default Car cost question: 2003 Honda Civic EX Coupe. One Owner. 80,000 Miles. New tires. New battery.?

Minor scratched and dings. Nothing out of the ordinary for a 6 yo used car. Tax, Title, Registration, 60 day bumper-to-bumper/power train warranty-->8500$. Is that a reasonable deal?

I'd Say Thats resonable:

I bought my '05 Honda Civic LX Sedan with around 80,000 miles. Had new Tires, new Battery, and new brakes. It was around 13,500. That was when the gas prices were insanely high now its a pretty cheap car.

Input all this information into KBB.com...which is the Kelly Blue Book website. This is a VERY reliable source of information. They will tell you a reasonable dealer quote and selling by owner quote.

Also, I still have my first car...a 1999 Honda Accord. It has 180K miles on it. I have kept up with the regular maintenance and it still runs beautifully. The ONLY thing wrong with it is that the automatic locks just went out, but that is fixable.

Honda vehicles are great investments if you are looking for something that will last you. They are reliable and last.

If you are thinking about purchasing this car, don't forget to have a TRUSTED mechanic look it over! That is a good idea for any used car buyer.

i bought my 05 civic ex coupe last november for 14k it had new tires, brakes, air filter, fresh oil ect ect but kbb on it now is only 10k so for ur car being almost 7 yrs old try to bring em down to 6500 and dont pay anymore than 7400 for it. honestly hondas hold their value and all but that doesnt mean dealerships can jack up the price. play hardball and you'll get a good deal

check craigslist, that's a great price. get it checked out by a mechanic before you do anything.

Its a fair deal, for an excellent car. In canada the equilvant would cost at least 10Gs.
