I'm gonna do an engine swap on a honda EG and I just want to know what are gonna be the best and least expensive upgrades I can do for speed? I wont be racing but I want my car to be around 200-220 hp.

k20 k24 BONE STOCK will give you what your looking for.. But thats running you $5000+
If anything else try a BUILT LSV, BUILT GSR, or BUILT H22 out of a Prelude . But theres no way your going to hit the 200 mark with out a nice budget... a B20 would give you the torque but not the HP.. If not just get a simple B serious swap and boost it on a simple 7PSI and make it a daily .. If not the only way to make 200HP+ is by SERIOUSLY building a block and head with add ons or go K |

best swap for the money would be a gsr, that motor fits right in, you wont need to buy mnounts..its just a drop in... you can easily hit the 200hp mark with a few bolt ons and a good ecu. my advice to you would be not to do a k or an h swapp.... first of all the h22 is heavy as hell... you'll have alot of weight up front...it gets hard to brake and to turn and you'll need get mounts and axels and youll have to do a little customizing so the engine will fit perfect and forget about have a/c or power steering and the shift linkage isnt like the normal swaps its almost like 2 wires that have to be slipped from a hole you would have to cut on the floor. the k has power... but it also weighs a good deal... cost ALOT...not just the motor but the whole swap, mounts shift linkage axels..etc... gsr fits right in aexels and all....i had a gsr civic coupe with fulls exhaust intake and manifold and a chipped p28 and i was smoking k hatchs all day...
