the problem is that, the stock engine is knocking!!

so my friend has a h22 vtec, and a f22 vtec.

wich is easier?? and cheaper? AND FASTER?

OHH AN ONE MORE THING MY CAR HAS A STOCK AUTOMATIC TRANNY, WILL IT FIT BOTH MOTORS ? OR I HAVE TO BUY A TRANNY TOO? WILL I NEED WIRE FOR VTEC? HOW MUCH WOULD I SPEND?

if i were you i would go with the h22. yes it'll both. but since your car is an auto, you would have to convert to manual. any swap cost money. i think your looking to spend around 2k for parts to make it manual. you need a manual tranny, ecu, harness, etc..... good luck on your swap. if you need more help, just register on honda-tech.com and im pretty sure the pros that has done this kind of swap already can help you through your progess.

Either engine will work, you can use your stock auto trans but the gearing isnt ideal for the h22. You will need to add wires for vtec and knock sensor.
