Default Tried to start my car, wont start small sound when I turn key, Lights Come On?

Details Honda Accord LX 01















Hi guys my car wont start ive tried to jump start the car and naaadaaa the lights still come on but not even with a quick jump will it turn on help. Starter Relay? Battery? Alternator















Problem was fixed guys, it ended up being my starter, it just died. THX!!!

It could be any of them: battery, alternator, starter relay. Also could be loose or dirty battery or ground connections. Lights coming on indicate nothing. It takes much more power for a starter to crank than to turn on lights. What type of cables are you using for the jump. $10 cables with 10 gauge wire and sheet metal clamps are virtually worthless unless you allow several minutes for your battery to recharge. They can't carry enough power to actually start an engine. A good set of cables that can start a car has 2 or 4 gauge wire and heavy steel clamps.

It sounds like your starter is shot.































Other than that you could be looking at a bad ground wire but that is not as likely as the started having died

Before you go replacing things, check the grounds. It is very important the grounds are good, clean and strong. Most likely you need a new starter though.
