(Original Response):
You can go to the dealership and get the keyless entry installed. It will cost you money but it can be done. (Additional Response): I didn't say it would be cheaper at the Dealership (if you look I said it would COST money... meaning it would cost more than going anywhere else)... , Since the car is a 2000 model the dealership wont change out the Radio for the keyless entry; they are not connected like pre-2000 models. The keyless entry is a separate receiver connected to the power lock (mechanism) and is a simple conversion. This 2000 car is missing this receiver to activate the keyless entry. However going anywhere but the dealer will always be cheaper. However the Dealership will install a honda product. Its up to Ericcody09..... get an aftermarket (generic product) or the manufacturer's product at the Dealership.... I wasn't promoting the dealership, It was just a starting point to my original response. Good Luck www.intellichoice.com |

I believe the keyless entry only comes on the lx and ex, and its part of the factory radio, so the dealership would cost you a ton, but since you already have power locks, you can get an aftermarket keyless entry system installed for pretty cheap. any car audio store, etc. place will sell them and do installs if you want them to, but dont go to the dealership[ because they will have to replace your stereo, and charge you a whole lot more than needed. good luck!
