Honda Civic Si -1997- Power Locks Wont Work
I have a 1997 civic si and I bought it recently. Everything was fine until yesterday when I try to get out of my car and my door wont open. So I press on the power lock to open it (even though it was open) and it didnt work. I used the keyless entry and it does not open or close the door at all, but it still beeps when I press it.
I have to push the lock back hard or use the key from outside to open the driver door. The passanger door lock is fine but the power lock wont work either. Note: previous owner had rust on the driver door so whole door was replaced. What can I do myself to fix it or to find the problem without a mechanic?
