Well, anything is possible, and why would they not tell the truth ?? The pan I can see, as the tranny and the differential are all one piece in front wheel drive cars. No filter, .... ?? There's nothing saying you have to have a filter, .... live & learn ??

It is true, most Hondas do not use a filter that you have to swap. Changing the transmission oil is all you have to do.

All you have to do is worry about changing the fluid. There's no filter for you to mess with.

There are exceptions of course, and transmissions that do have a filter usually have to be taken out of the car and opened to access it. There are some Honda trannys like that, I'm just unsure which models and years. So don't worry about it and just change the fluid. Make sure you use only Honda Transmission fluid from the dealer.
