Does honda rust easier, or see less rust than other cars?















I ask,because the dealer is trying to sell me rust protection and undercoat protection. My friends husband, a mechanic says its a waste of money, cash grab.















Do Hondas rust easy, if I plan on owning it until its about 9 years?































Please, no comments that its not American...I am Canadian, so I really do not care, and prefer Honda's over most other vehicles.

Hahaaa Jill, don't get the undercoat protection, it IS a waste of money. Hondas do NOT rust easily, nor do other cars made in this decade. Cars today are galvanized, and they last forever as far as rust goes.

No, they are just smooching you for extra $$.

All dealers try this scheme. Hondas don't rust any more than others cars, don't waste your money.

I would recline there rust protection and go for an aftermarket one like Rust Check or Krown, this is what I've used on my 2000 CRV and there is no rust including underneath, my last vehicle was 20 yrs old (Nissan) and the body was spotless as well.
