Default is 6800 a good price for a honda civic 2003?

My dad asked me today if i wanted a honda civic 2003. The cost is around 6800 and he said he will bargain for it and get it down to around 6000 if i want...

btw it has 29000 millage.

Should i get it? i want a new car and i have the money. but is the car worth its price

Honestly, I would do it. You're much better off without a large car payment.
