Default i drive a honda civic ex. my airbags went off and my car stopped running is there a kill switch

to my engine? i drive down this dirt road every day and one day my airbags went off and now my car wont start should the engine still run or is there something that i need to reset or replace??

I would check the fuses in the car first - setting off the airbags could have taken out one of your main fuses in the engine bay. Use a multimeter to check fuses and make sure there are no problems there before taking the car to a garage.

Not certain about Hondas, but many cars are disabled if the airbags fire. My friend's Ford Explorer was in a spin out on the freeway (his daughter hydroplaned) and it was beat around enough to set off the airbags... the engine no longer ran and the dealer said it was disabled.
