how do you convert your car's wheel from 4 lugs to 5 lugs?

they do make adaptors for this , or you can change the hub , adaptors are cheaper

The wheels themselves would have to be a 2/3 piece design so that the center could be removed and replaced.































Now the hubs, you'd have to find something that is compatible with your vehicle for example in the case of an Acura Integra you would need Acura Integra Type-R hubs. So often times you may not be able to and you'd just be better off buying a set of wheels that match your cars boltpattern (especially with the prices of Type-R hubs in the case of the Integra)

you can change the whole wheel of the tire you know get one with 5 lug nuts not 4.mine has 5.better right.does it matter.yes more safer.by 1 lug.

You are better off with the Honda 4 lug wheel, unless there are important style issues. Honda wheels are hub centric - the wheel is not supported and centered by the lugs but by the lip at the center of the hub. That relieves the lugs of sideways strain and makes them much more secure than ordinary 5 lug wheels. On a straight road a Honda wheel could theoretically be held on by one lug (although I've never seen it), and far better than a lug centric wheel can be held on by two of 5 lugs (THAT I've seen!)

What year and model car is it? On 90-97 accords you can bolt on first gen Odyssey front knuckles and 97+ prelude rear hubs. Civics can use Integra type R parts. Don't use cheap adapters.
