i want to make my crx faster but dont know what to do i want to every thing i can do to make it haul and where can i get this stuff with out killing my budget

put a tow rope on it and pull it behind a street machine you'll not only save gas but you'll be in budget.lol Get a real car not some slant eyed ching chow honda.

You can start with a cold air intake or after market air filter. It adds 5-10hp instantly and installs in minutes.































I don't really know of anything else really...

one of the best things to do is to spend some time taking parts out of the engine and giving everything a really good clean and replace any old part to the engine that look worn and often that can really do wonders for the engine and the power out put as it would have lost some power since 1991. then once thats done you can think about changing the cooling system and turbo chargers ect, depending on how much you want to do.

Cold air intake, headers, exhaust. Once that is done, get a nice reputable performance chip @$350. These things will give you atleast another 70+ horses.

drop a b18 in it and be done with it. If you want to use the same engine full bolt ons and a nitrous kit will get you somewhat faster. You have an advantage because of the weight. If you get that crx to make 200whp you will be pretty quick

firstly ignore customs572, he doesn't know what he's talking about, probably thinks a v8 mustang is a good car....































you can go for an engine swap to a B18C from the integra type-r, will have 200bhp strait away but will cost about £2000+ job done, otherwise you could go for the B18C4 170bhp from the EM6 civic VTI-S.































if swaps a bit out of budget do up the current engine, if you have the VTI or SI-R crx then it will have the brilliant 160bhp B16A2. (or 150bhp B16A1). you can add an induction kit for instant cheap power, and can go on to do so much else, heres a list of some things you can do, up to you and your budget as to what!

*sport cams















*forged pistons















*superchip/remap ECU















*headers















*manifold 4-2-1 full exhaust















*turbocharger or supercharger















*upgraded spark plugs/ignition































theres a very long list, they are the most commonly done mods. remember to improve handling as well as just bhp, go for bigger brakes, either aftermarket or wack some bigger honda prelude brakes on it. get a good set of coilover suspension. best to get second hand stuff if your on a budget, sites like pistonheads.com classified section if you live in uk, otherwise ebay usually has everything!
