Default 1999 Accord stalling

Our son's 1999 Honda Accord 4 door EX, 2.3l engine, stalls intermittently while driving. There is no warning and the problem happens while the car is hot and cold. It also is sometimes hard to start, both on cold starts and while attempting a restart after stalling. Cranks fine, just no start, no backfiring, just sounds like no spark or no fuel. Usually waiting 2 minutes or so results in a good start, and it has never had the problem for more than 15 minutes without starting.

I've already replaced the fuel pump and the main relay after reading some old posts here, and the problem persists. Wondering if the ECM is next to replace?

Any ideas?
