Default Does maaco primer the car before the paint job? 10points?

I dont have over 250 for a paint job but my car looks like ****? Do they primer the car based on the normal 200 paint job? If not how much extra does it cost? Will give 10points for best answer. Thanks in advance

No unless you get the premium package, but what maaco and earl scheib do is sand the car to the primer and paint over it, they do a crappy job, you get what you pay for, 200 aint gettin you anything haha, to do a good job, you sand the car fix any dings you have primer the car and 2stage paint and you buff and polish the car so it can shine, you can get a descent job from 700. But it depends on the color you want if you want a pro job take all the interior paint the door panels fire wall you are looking at 1800-3000 it depends what shop you go to

Like the other person said YOU GET WAT U PAY FOR,

But if u really want to save money to half of the work yourself its easy cheap and fun and you cant take your time......

I recommend u sand your own car and primer it and then take it in to the pros to do the rest!

a good source is

the y show u how to sand/primer and even paint a car

also go to youtube and search how to san a car?

or how to primer or how to paint a car

there is a video a

of an 18yearold kid who painted his mitsubishi eclipse

he has the hole thing recorded from sanding to paintin all in his garage..

hope this was of some help

No primer. Cheap shops like maaco usually have good or at least acceptable painters. The reason prices are so cheap and quality is usually poor is because they limit the time allotted for prep work. If you can do most the prep work yourself and just have them spray it you'll have a decent paint job.
