Default Daytime running lights - Canada

My first post on this forum and I'm hoping it is as friendly and helpful as I have found the Honda motorcycle forum that I frequent to be.

Can anyone tell me where I will find the relay that operates the DRL's on my 2001 Accord Coupe?

I haven't been able to find a FREE service manual download, which would be a big help in this matter.

Thanks for any assistance.

I had the same problem with my driving lights on a 1997 Honda Accord. I was able to repair the problem, using information that was posted on this forum by Steve Manley. You may be able to download the information on the website.

I hope this works for you as well as it worked for me.

Thank you Jason. I will have to go hunting for that relay now and see if mine will fix as easily!

Smile Just saved @ $250.00!!

Did the job that Steve Manley shows so nicely in the link provided by Jason above.

Had the job done in 30 minutes and the DRL system is well and functioning once again.

I highly recommend anyone with a soldering iron, some resin core solder and maybe a good magnifying glass, if you have 60 year old eyes like mine, that finds their daytime running lights are coming on intermittently, or have failed altogether, to try this repair before going to a dealer for a new DRL module.
