Default How do I disconnect Air Filter - Honda Civic Type-S?

Pic of under the hood located at :

All I want to do is disconnect the airfilter pipe to the engine, which I know is not healthy! But I want to see if there is a difference as the airfilter may be faulty. and I want to check this myself before referring to the local garage who charges for diagnosis of the problem.

Yeah but isn't there a single pipe you can disconnect? How do I do that, where is it located

Nope as the Mass air sensor will be needed for the engine to run so you can't 'just disconnect' the pipe. As said it would be easier anyway to remove the filter.

Look at your air filter, there is a plug connected to it. SIMPLY UNCLIP IT. no need to remove air mass.
