Default Honda Civic upgrades?

i wanted to get a 2006 GTO but i am still a teen and the cost for insurance is insane 600+ a month. OMG!

So i was looking at some Honda civics (SI) maybe the SI.

And i want to know what are a list of upgrades and makers of the upgrades to put in it.

Like i was going to supercharge the GTO because its heavier but the Honda is less so should i turbo it? What turbo and accessory's?

Also i don't want it to sound like a rice burner can i get a nice deep sound out of it? i know its not a V8 like the GTO but can i still get a good sound?

Im also looking for audio system like a 10k watt. And neon's, body kits ect...

Anything like x pipes? or some tips? i didn't want a fart pipe or nothing i want a nice muscle car sound if possible. Anything is most helpful.

if u cant afford insurance dont be looking at all this stuff which is going to end up costing u 5k plus. I mean u could get a air intake to make it sound good but everything else sounds out of ur price range.

If you want low exaust tone, you need larger than stock exhuast pipes. So 2.5 inch. don't do the neon's-gay. don't do the kit, also gay. A good sound system is good if you upgrade your head unit as well. As far as subs, for rock, you need 2 8's, for rap/rock 2 10's, for rap only, you need 12 inch subs.

Turbo- you need a MINIMUM of $4000! There's no way to do it without blowing up your motor for less than that. Take my word for it. Buy the car, enjoy it like it is for a while

you probably want ITB's (individual throttle bodies). they sound pretty meaty, but they do not add as much power as a turbo or supercharger would. get a nice custom free flow exhaust, you can pick out the muffler and the downpipe. buy a header as well to add to the tone. DC sports makes mean headers that perform well and have style.

one crazy idea that would take years of study and experience that you could try is swapping out the honda engine for a chevy small block or something. people have done this before. this would be best for you, but you dont seem to know that much of cars.

audio systems too? okay that's not too hard. amps, subs... just ask any car audio shop for a 10k for a civic. theyll find you one.

good luck to you in your modification process with this civic.
