Default 99 honda civic ex with a d16 from an 03?

can a 03 d16 fit on a 99 civic?

yes its a direct bolt on but not plug and play

your gonna want to get a jumper harness for the engine harness to plug into the main harness

make sure you use the same ecu from the 03 as well

~ there was no D16 in 03 just the D17 and that would be a complete waste

The 2003 Honda Civic had the D17 engine. The engine and transmission mounts are completely different compared to the 89-00 Honda Civic's. If you really want a engine for your 99 Civic try to find a D16Y7 or a D16Y8, they're both a direct swap since they came stock in those models.
