It appears to be a transmission issue. The code reads "failed 2nd clutch pressure switch". I had a feeling that it was a transaxle issue because it seems to hesitate when changing from 1st to 2nd gear.could someone tell me the steps required to remedy the problem and if its a costly repair job. its an Automatic BTW. Thanks

the pressure switch is external and can be replaced with relative ease by disconnecting the connector and unscrewing the switch to remove it then replace the switch by threading it in.































on some models you need to remove the rear stiffiner bracket but that just comes off with two bolts.































that switch will cause the transmission to shift poorly. I don't know what code you have, but if its P1738 then the problem should just be with a shorted switch and not an internal probalem.
