Default Honda accord engine swap help!!!?

ok right now i have a 1996 accord lx 4 door with an f22b2 non vtec motor, but i want to swap it with a h22a or f22b1 i think im going to go with the f22b1 cuz its cheaper it will hopefully only set me back $800+ but before i even start pulling things apart, how much more power would I get??? Is it enough to do a swap or should i just put a turbo in it and save myself some time and money??? What would you recommend???

h22a would set me back 4k and just putting a turbo will cost me about the same as if i just put an f22b1 :P i might save up and put an f22b1 with a turbo :P idk i think ill just get the turbo

i meant to say 4k for an h22a with a turbo :P i was sleepy last night when i asked lol

if you switch to the f22b1 you'll get +15hp

if you switch to the h22a you'll get +57hp

don't really know about the turbo bc of the brand and size u want

I'd recommend the f22b1

PS-when it comes to the turbo, don't skimp out. Get the best turbo kits or it'll put too much stress on the engine (even if you have a good blowoff valve). A good turbo kit will add about three hundred HP but it'll put you back a nice 2k (for the turbine alone)

id save up and look around for a cheaper h22..preferably from the street or junk yard...going n/a is more reliable then going boost....and theres also more aftermarket support for the h22 over the f22...

Save yourself some money if nothing is wrong with your b2. Don't make the mistake of thinking the b1 is more of a performance engine because it has vtec, it is not.
