i need a drivers side CV joint for my civic hatch and decided that replacing the whole axle is cheaper then just the CV joint. i found a parts car with brand new axles and was wondering will a 93 civic coupe front axle fit in a 92 civic hatch.































if not will the CV joint out of the couple fit the hatch.

They will interchange for the most part, the exception is if the 93 has the 1.6 liter with anti-lock brakes then they will not. But the 93 without anti-lock (both the 1.5 and 1.6 liter engines) will fit the 92 model with either engine.

Troy (user) is right with the 1.5 vs. the 1.6. Although the AT and manual transmissions can differ.
