my car has a starting problem and turns on 90% of the time. i dont know what it is since we already change the starter and the distributer. does anyone have any suggestions about why my car doesnt turn on sometimes and then later on it does.

Check the main relay. One way to check this is















1. pull rear seat bottom















2. undo the fuel pump plate















3. undo the connector, and check for power by turning the key to accessories. Leave it plugged in and listen carefully to the pump, you should hear it whinning. If it is not change the main relay.















also, hold the main relay, and cycle the key back and forth, you should feel the relay move. change the main relay.















main relay is by your knees behing that plastic piece when you sit. brown box.

same thing happens to mine sometimes, it cranks but doesn't start... im guessing is the main relay......

Your problem could be your fuel pump relay. Have it check byu a good Honda mechanic. Hope this helps!
