what is a good vtec engine i can swap with my 95 civic ex coupe?

A b18c engine is one that comes to mind.

GSR motor sound better, but way better if you get a H22 from prelude.

It depends if you want to race get a b18, if your like me and just cruise around but want a lil power get a zc or a b16 I own a ej and eg I have a b16 on my eg and a zc on my ej, look these up they are good engines
