i have a 98 civic 1.6 vtec engine and it has a intake on it its also 5speed i thought it was very slow but then i thought every other civic might b this slow too but when i drove my friends 95 civic also had only a intake on it and 1.6 vtec it was 5times faster now im tryin to figure out wats wrong wit my civic..... wat should i do

Generally speaking, certain cars can "feel" faster without actually being it. The engine he has, a D16Z6, in actuality has 2 horsepower less that your D16Y8, so there's probably a difference in feel to the car. You'd have to time them to honestly find out if something was wrong, which I doubt there is.
