so i got this carbon fiber lip for my eg an im not sure whats the best way to go about putting it in without scratching the paint much or damaging the lip... with the kit i recieved 4 screwes only and there is no pre drilled holes on the lip... so i cant buy screws an nuts to line the lip up with the oem holes under the bumper... i know i will need to drill holes probably on the bumper in the wheel well right? an whats the safest way to drill the cf lip without cracking it?































any kind of help or step by step instructions would be nice.... thx















ok so i got the cf lip for my 93 eg coupe and it doesnt fit.... the little arms that hug the bumber are curved in to far and wont hug the bumper....???? should i cut the little arms off then drill holes on the side of the lip and my bumper .... anything would help... thx

you just need to drill the 4 holes....two per tire well.....use painters masking tape(the blue one) and do a few layers....mark you hole and then drill....for the center portion along the bumper...just use double sided tape....which should be done first...and then screw in the sides....















---i would prefer to use small nuts and bolts with washers for the sides....































you shouldnt cut it....try using a heat gun on it so that it can flex...if that doesnt work then you probably got a defected one...or one that was meant for a sedan....because it should of been a snuged fit...

in addition to above, dont putt too much pressure on the drill and lip, let the drill do the work, and pump with drill with short bursts. and be sure you have a sharp drill bit.
