Hi, I am not that good with cars but I was hoping to get some HIDs for my stock honda civic coupe 97. what do I have to buy like a kit or lightbulbs or something? idk.































Also is the installation easy? if not can you help me =(

just need the bulbs, but dont go to far over the stock bulb wattage or other wise youll end up with elec problems

they usually come in a conversion kit, its a transformer that fires the HID bulb. that should plug right into your factory wiring,

You go into your cars manual, or look up online, what type of bulbs you have for headlights, or for your high beams, or sometimes there is one bulb for both. The most common bulb being the h4 style bulb will have a high and a low beam coil inside, these bulbs are more expensive when converting to hids.































ONce you find out what kind of bulbs you ahve in your cra, go order a conversion kit for those types of bulbs. If you have a the type of bulb with a hi, and a low beam coil, you will need to specify that when ordering your kit, it will be double the price roughly.































You will get HID lamps with the same mouting surfaces as your iriginal bulbs that fit right into your exhisting sockets. YOu also get bulb controllers which plug into the wiring that previously went to your old bulbs, and into your new HID bulbs.































It may sound confusing, but reread it untill it makes sense and is simple, cause it really is pretty easy to do.
