Here's the deal. My wife's car, a '91 Accord EX w/ manual trans, won't start. She says it was a hard start two mornings in a row then quite on the freeway. We had it towed home and that's when I get involved.

I pulled a plug wire and no spark. The cap and rotor were pretty ugly so I threw the works at it. New cap, rotor, wires, and spark plugs. Still nothing. So I pull the cap again and check the coil. It has the prescribed resistance. I turn the key to on and check voltage to coil. Almost battery voltage. I check the voltage to the ignitor(or whatever Honda calls it) and it is showing half a volt. The schematic shows that the power lead for the ignitor goes straight back to the ECM.

I repaired the main relay last summer but just to be sure I replaced it new today and I still have the same problem. Has anyone seen a problem like this before. I searched the forum but only found people with the ever present main relay problem. I'm running out of ideas so any help would be great. I'm not crazy about the idea of replacing a $400 ECM but will if it solves the problem.
