Probably not... if it has no compression there could be a number of problems, all of which lead to rebuilding if you had a severe misfire, it could have burned a hole in the piston, or a burned or bent valve, anticipate rebuilding something, and spending some money... sorry, hope this helps.

Blown head gaskets usually result in two pistons, side by side, having low compression.
It could be a burnt valve, worn or broken piston rings, a worn cam lobe that doesn't open the valve how it should, and/or carbon build-up on the valves. From what I know, there aren't temporary fixes that'll keep the engine from worsening. I'd try an oil change and see if that helps. Maybe a more experienced auto mechanic on here can help. |
