it helps keep your car running well. keeps your gas mileage up, better spark in your spark plugs. but your not gonna be faster.

A good tune up returns the engine back to its peak performance. Usually, raises gas mileage a bit, more horsepower and smoother running.

Tune-up makes your car running smooth and in good condition. Regular tune-up will avoid you from any bigger damage from your car. It anticipate and early check things before it happens. Regular tun-up will prolong your car's life. Hope this helps!
