WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HONDA PRELUDE (BASE)AND HONDA PRELUDE (SH). HOW DO I KNOW WHAT KINDA MINE IS.

SH stands for "super handling" and usually means different suspension was used on that car to improve handling and performance. I don't believe any other changes were done to the engine.

There is also the Type S from Japan and the ATTS version (Auto Torque Transfer System) also with an extra 20HP on the motor. The Base is usually automatic and doesn't have the sunroof or upgraded suspension system. The SH is half the time Manual.
