1 could be bad master cylinder....vacuum could be sucking it into engine and burning it

check the brake pads it might be low to the wear indicator. If all the brakes lining are low, it will show low fluid. If the break are new and have a lot of meat left. Check both the the rear wheel cylinder for leakage. Usually the wheel cylinder goes out and leak.

where have you checked for leaks? simply looking around the master cylinder reservoir isn't enough.

the probability is that you have a leaking wheel cylinder at one of the rear wheels. when that cylinder leaks it will not puddle up under the car when parked; the fluid will be thrown off the wheel by centrifical force as you drive down the road. So you'll need to have the wheels removed and the wheel cylinders in the back and the caliper pistons in the front inspected for leaks. I expect that you'll find the cause of your dropping fluid level to be at the working end of the brakes.

hope that helps

If you live in the "Rust Belt" where salt is used on the roads, listen up! Honda does not coat the brake lines or use stainless. The main (hard) line to rear brakes runs under the floor pan and is housed in a plastic box.Get under car (soon) and inspect these hard lines for rust! These lines are exposed to the elements and subject to sudden failure as they become riddled with small holes and then suddenly give way resulting in complete system failure. My system was loosing a little every week despite a recent four wheel brake job.Leaving work one evening the brake pedal went right to the floor and stayed there. These lines are a pain to replace and come over the Honda parts counter with a hefty price.Check also the rubber flex lines for swelling and cracks.Get your car on a hoist and look again, you should be able to see (and smell)the leak.Good Luck
