Which car do you guys think will last longer and have lower maintenance costs?

I'd say Toyota

Lower maintenance cost = Toyota.

Last longer = Honda

My favourite = Honda

I have owned 3 Honda's and 2 corolla's. I think both cars are almost equal Honda's will definitely last for a very long time and corolla's almost as long. However it is much easier to break into and steal a Honda than it is a toyota. Especially a civic that is a car thief's top choice, Even if it's stock they'll steal it just for the parts. You can't really go wrong with either. They both have a relatively low cost of ownership and both are known to last a long time. So, I would drive both to see which one you like better in terms of styling and the drive quality. Toyotas in general go for more of a comfort/quiet feel vs. Honda that strives more for performance/handling characteristics. Personally, I prefer the way Hondas feel.

Honda - pure awesomeness in a piece of metal.

Toyota, it's like a toy.

Every time I drive my honda, I'm impressed by the incredible engineering work that went into it.
