I have a 2008 Honda accord; scraped the front undercarriage pretty bad...had my dad take it to the Honda dealer to perform a safety check...in addition to scraping up the bottom of the front bumper; scraped the plastic parts and broke a few clips. They could not replace the clips because said the metal component that held the plastic in place was bent and they did not perform body work and that I should go to a body shop. They said I had no mechanical damage. Should I pursue a body shop or leave well enough alone for the time being?
