sure its a good first car if your into the honda scene. and to make the car look like that all you have to do is buy it and put rims on it, and maybe drop it..basically thats what the car in the picture you have shows.. you can make it look better than the civic in that picture for well under a grand

I think that's a great first car! I got a 1988 Honda Civic DX for my first car and I love it. You can easily make your car look like the one in the picture. All you have to do basically is put rims on it, lower it, tint the windows, and maybe paint it. That is fairly easy. If you look around you can find some pretty good deals too! I wish you luck!

ricer. if you plan on getting a first car JUST for a first car sure get the civic. If you want to mod it and race it and make it "look fast" no. do not get the civic.
but if you want that ugly looking body kit around 1k-2k |

That car looks like it's on a drop, a lip, side skirts, tinted windows, an EX model with the sunroof.
The bumper that person has only came on the coupes and hatchbacks. Those bumpers are popular because you can get certain fog lights, modify the bumper and just slip them right on. That style of Civic (92-95 EG) is easy to work on due to how clean the engine bay is. When I say clean, I mean there's not so many cables, wires and hoses running all over. Your hands can reach around without having to fight through so much stuff. If you go for a Civic, make sure it's an Si or EX model, those came out of the factory with VTEC motors. Here's a link to a Honda motor guide, if you do buy one, find out what motor it has and check on there to see if it has VTEC, or whether it's a single cam or dual. http://hondaswap.com/reference-mater...ne-list-29128/ |
