Can you put a new spec 90-99 Honda civic engine in an old Honda 83 (Triamph Acclaim)?
I have an old Triamph Acclaim 83 model a.k.a Ballade (SC9), with a busted engine, but the old ones cost the same as the new ones, So just wanted to know if I could to an engine swap and put in a newer engine in the car instead.

you can do anything with time and money...but anyways it requires custom motor mounts and a complete wire harness conversion.....and a few bit of extra fabs...its not really worth it...etiher stick to the original motor or upgrade to a newer car....
