bearings & bent hub replaced and rotor turned the brakes are fine and have been checked - my mechanic has done all of this and yet the noise is still there same as when I took it in to begin with. Anyone have any ideas? It does it when braking and of course it stops when you are stopped. It's a light scraping sound. It also makes some noise when I turn left (it's on the pass side front wheel it seems).

I expect you are only looking at the front brakes. the rear disc on that unit may be worn out. check the back brakes for the wear sensors rubbing against the discs. the wear sensors are on the inside pad.
it is usually a wear sensor if the noise goes away when you step on the brake lightly. as for the bent hub; WOW! I've never heard of one. there are wear sensors on the front brake pads as well but I have to assume if someone is replacing all those parts then the pads would have been replaced on the front. if the hub was truly bent from accident damage then check the backing plate as that may be bent as well. if the backing plate is damaged it could be rubbing. hope that helps |
