hello i have a 1991 integra when i try to turn on my heater it does not come on but my headlights dim like its putting stress on somethin any suggestions

how old is your battery? have you ever changed out your alternator? when was the last time you did a full tune up? if your battery isnt holding a charge, your alternator is old, or if you havent done a tune up (plugs, wires, distributor, rotor) these may be causing your lights to dim. if your heater stopped blowing, them may be the fan that moves the air in your car went out. but check those items i mentioned first. from my understanding, getting to the blower fan and heater core isnt the funnest thing to do.

There is a chance the blower is frozen at the moment. The headlights dim because the electric motor is trying to turn but it cant so the car used a lot of amperage and dims the headlights. Try turning on the blower and tapping the motor with a hammer. If that does not work try replacing the motor.
