Faster? Doesn't apply, because that assumes that it's fast to start with. It's an 89 Civic, with barely 106 horses at the engine. Around 80 at the wheels. Assuming you have a good engine in there. Yank the engine, and put something better in it. Such as a different car. Yes, Civics can be made fast. With a lot of money, and at the end of the day, it's still a civic. And no one will care. Most importantly, making it fast, and making it last, do not agree with each other. The faster you make something, the sooner it will die. That's the way it goes. So decide what's more important. High level drag cars are a perfect example. Many times, the entire engine is swapped out, after only one race, because it's so fried. Extreme example, but you get the point. The hatch is designed for economy. Use it for its purpose. |

okay screw the ppl who get on here saying your ride is crap, there just made cuz they dont have a car bro. and as far as a turbo if you feel like tearing ur motor apart and building the shit out of it to make it handle a turbo dont do it! but what you can do is pull ur motor out and put a ls motor from a integra in there or a gsr motor. or if your looking for bolt ons go with cold air intake, cam gears, take ur ac out and power steering, better plugs and plug wires (hotwires are a good brand u can find them on ebay), header, cat back, since its a 89 run some injector cleaner threw it and get a new fuel filter, they have this stuff at monroe muffler its called a 3 step if u can get that it cleans all the carbon out. thats just a few things u can do jump on passwordjdm.com they have a live chat on there u can talk to real pros.
