I have a 2000 Honda Civic EX, 2 door. My power windows have been extremely slow for atleast a year now and recently they are going so slow they stop and I have to keep pressing the switch until they finally work again. It happens with both windows, and sometimes they don't seem to go as slow as others. I am completely puzzled at what it could be. I'm planning on taking it to a shop but wanted to get some opinions of what it could be or what I should do.

It could be you battery is going dead in the car or the window motor is about shot.

It could also be a ground wire that's not connecting right but i doubt it if multiple windows are doing it.

If both windows are used alot the motors could be going bad. They get slower with age, eventually it will just quit working.
