...just the v6.? I want to buy 2003 honda accord EX coupe 2.4L manual transmission.















I have been searching for it's problems and i found out that lots of the 2003 accords has been having a transmission failure due to a factory failure .















so, i been wondering if some one know if the 4 cylinder manual 2003 accord has the same problem with the transmission ,or it's just the v6 ones ?

the transmission on the 4 cyl and the V6 are different. they are not the same.

The problems with the Honda automatics from 1998-2003 were only on the V-6 Accord & Odyssey. Honda had extended the warranty on the 98-2000 models but the transmission problems continued into 2003 models.































the 4 cylinder was not affected as it used a different transmission. The Manual Transmission never had a problem on any of the years; it was only the automatic V-6 transmissions that had a high failure rate.
