Default is this a good deal for a 99 civic?

ok theres a '99 civic si for sale its lowered, has an intake system and a couple minor changes like a new radio etc. but he wants $4,500 firm is that a good deal?

price kind of high have it checked out by a mechanic before you buy

sounds like it was owned by some punk ass teenager. probably pretty beat up. you should definitely have a mechanic check it out if you want it.

no way, too high. plus i don't like the fact that it was lowered and has an after market intake. these things look cool, but they could also mean that this car was run like a dog or was raced. have a mechanic check it out and take about $1000 off of the price.

how many miles and does it run well, go to KBB.Com enter all that info it can give you an idea to see wat its worth.

4500 does sound like a good deal for a EM1 (99-00) Civic Si, but before you jump the gun and buy it, get it checked out by a mechanic, last thing you want to do is buy a car in which the motor/trans etc was abused. also check to see if the car has a clean title or salvaged, this may not seem like a big deal but if you try to sell it later it will affect the resale.
