Default Is this Honda Accord too good to be true?

We're shopping for a used car. We found one on Craigslist and went by to test drive it. It's a 2002 Honda Accord with only 33,000 miles!! Is that possible? It runs great. The owner is a couple with 4 kids and they say they have had it for 3 months. They say it was owned by an older couple, then a dealer got it from them and sold it to them. They say they haven't had any trouble with it but that they needed a bigger car because they have 4 kids. They also say we will need to get new airbags and that the Honda dealership will do that free for 2001 and 2002 Hondas. They are willing to part with it for $6,800 (posting price was $8,000 I think)

My question is, is this too good to be true? THey already knew they had 4 kids when they bought it 3 months ago, so it doesn't add up that they're selling it for that reason. We plan on running a car fax, but I just want to get an opinion on here on whether I should even do that or just let it go. Is it possible to have a 2002 car with only 33,000 miles? Is there any way the odometer may have been tampered with? And is that even possible with a digital odometer?

Thanks and I'll appreciate any expert input.

Take it to a honda dealer. Dealers only have a special scanner that can check for approximate miles on the car.

According to KBB.com the Private Party Price for this car is around $7,250 so it is a fair deal. I do see the recall notice on these so the dealer should fix the Air Bag issue.
