Default Where is the alarm system battery situated in of a honda accord sedan car?

Throughout these days, I cannot use my remote transmitter to turn on my car anymore. First i thought the transmitter ran out of battery, but the light still flashes on yet the car won't turn on. I then have to manually open the car by inserting the key in the driver's door to unlock the car.

Later on as I keep using the manual method to open my car, it started making terrible screeching sounds as i turn the key.

I was wondering where the alarm system battery is located in the car so I could replace it with a new one?

It is a honda accord sedan 1995 car.

Thanks

the only battery is in your remote key fab,the system uses the car battery for the rest of its power.the remote stater system probably has a failure internally, try changing the battery in your remote first, they do get weak enough to make the light come on but not transmit to starter/lock control box.the noise your hearing when you turn the key in door is the lock actuator it is not working properly and this to could make your remote system not work.if the remote system does not get a signal that doors are locked it might not let you use remote.the door lock actuator has a micro switch on it that tells the control box that is locked or unlocked.good luck honda tech 12yrs

Replace the batteries in your remote to make sure.

However, it sounds like your electric locks are having mechanical issues.

There is no actual alarm system battery in the car, it operates from the cars one and only main battery, which is apparently fine or the car would not be operating at all.

You may have no choice but to take it to a shop.
