I want to get a 2000 honda civic. im afraid i might not get a si. so is it okay to pretend like its a si? i dont want to be considered a ricer. i plan on putting a:
b16a engine si rims si cluster vtec sticker thing on the side bumper (like most si's) si emblem. |

I wouldn't call it rice if it is made to look just like the stock one but you will end up spending more doing it this way then just buying a Si for a little more up front, unless you do all the work and hold out for great deals.

We call that an si swap man, and it's perfectly ok. Don't just put an Si badge and V-TEC decals on it, you have to have the engine first. Also you should do a JDM body swap, if you plan on making it an Si, make it a JDM Si. Honestly it would be cheaper and more time efficient to just buy an Si.
