Or are they bad for car? I see like these aftermarket radiator caps made by Spoon and Skunk2 that boast on about creating high pressure and it being good for motors. Do they really keep your car's motor cooler? ?































Could they actually cause problems like creating too much pressure and blowing off a hose or the cap itself? im thinkin about getting 1 for my 98 GSR integra but if its gonna cause cause my car to blow a hose off then i wont bother. thanks

All raising the water system's pressure would do is raise the boiling point by 3-5 degrees. In other words, allow it to run hotter.















Not worth it in my opinion.

Yes it could do a lot of damage. The higher the pressure the hotter the coolant will be. Use the factory pressure rating for the cap.
