Default Can I replace 97 Honda 2.2 engine with 98 Honda 2.3?

I have a 1997 Honda Accord 2.2 engine that is bad. I have a 98 Honda Accord engine 2.3 v-tech and want to know if I can put the 2.3 in replace of the 2.2 engine? If so, will I have to make any modifications or change anything else over?

yes you can. you will need to use the wire harness from your car. the ECU for the 2.3, and you will have to run your own VTEC wires, because the bad engine was not a VTEC. If you have no experience doing these thing I would recommend leaving it to a pro. The good news is it will bolt right up with no modification to the chassis or firewall. Good Luck
