Default 1999 honda civic catalytic convertor..ripped off?

My 99 honda civic has been running very 'choppy' lately, lower gas mileage, and just not running well at all. Check engine light is on. Took it to the garage and was quoted $1450 for a new catalytic convertor and 2 oxygen sensors. This sounds like a lot...am I being ripped off?
