Default Timing belt?

My timing belt needs changing. Does it matter if I go to the dealership or to another mechanic? There is a $200 differencein cost.

Default Re: Timing belt?

You can have a good mechanic do it, as long as they know what they are doing....

As far as having the dealer do it... depends on how if you ever want to sell the car...

A lot of people like to hear "The Honda Dealership did all the maintenance, I have records"
